Predefined Context Definitions in Agentforce Revenue Management

A unified method for applications to access and share information is essential for seamless data integration and operational efficiency throughout the entire revenue lifecycle, from quoting to billing.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions of Agentforce Revenue Management

To ensure data flows seamlessly across your entire revenue lifecycle, use context definitions as a central data-mapping layer. They eliminate silos by enabling applications like Transaction Management, Product Discovery, and Billing to communicate consistently. At their core, these definitions are structured metadata blueprints that contain all the necessary information to run the revenue process, defining the relationships between data nodes, their attributes, and the mappings to your Salesforce objects. This creates a reliable framework for complex, end-to-end business processes.

Context definitions are the key component of the Context Service, which acts as a generic bridge between your business processes and applications. While Salesforce provides standard definitions that work out-of-the-box, you can also extend or clone them to meet your unique use cases. This flexibility ensures you can achieve consistent and tailored data integration across various Salesforce industry clouds and APIs, making your data accessible and meaningful wherever it's needed.
