Give your portal users the necessary permissions to post a question about a topic and
start a discussion in the Financial Services Client portal. Your portal users can use the Ask a
Question feature on the portal to post questions.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions
where Financial Services Cloud license is enabled
User Permissions Needed
To update field-level security and to edit system permissions:
Manage Profiles and Permission Sets
AND
Customize
Application
Update the field-level security for Account Number, Balance, and Status fields on the
Financial Account object.
In Setup, go to Object Manager.
In the Quick Find box, enter Financial Account, and select
Financial Account.
Select Fields & Relationships.
Select Account Number.
Click Set Field-Level Security.
For the cloned community user profile, select Visible and deselect
Read-Only.
Save your changes.
Repeat these steps for the Balance and Status fields on the Financial Account
object.
Update the cloned community user profile.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Profiles, and then select
Profiles.
Select the cloned community user profile.
Under System, select System Permissions and click
Edit.
Next to Assign Topics, select
Enabled.
Save your changes.
