If the provided event types or milestone types don’t address your business needs, you
can create additional types. You can use the sort options to sort a client's events and business
milestones to better match investment strategies to client goals by using their full
history.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited
Editions
From Setup, open Object Manager.
In the Quick Find box, enter Person Life Event, and then
select Person Life Event.
Note To create milestone types, select
Business
Milestone.
Click Fields & Relationships, and then select
Event Type or Milestone
Type.
Under Event Type Picklist Values or Milestone Type Picklist Values, click
New, and then add the new event types or milestone
types.
From the Life Events or Business Milestones component, click the sort menu and select
your preferred display order.
Save your changes.
Note If your org uses the Translation Workbench, notify your translators when you add
or change picklist values.
