Enable Prerequisite Features for AI-Powered Document Validation
Before you configure AI-powered validation, ensure that the core Salesforce
infrastructure is active. This includes Data 360, Advanced Document Validation, and Document
Checklist Items.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience.
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited editions that have
Financial Services Cloud enabled.
Turn on Einstein to use generative AI features,
and enable Prompt Builder to allow AI-powered
document validation to automatically generate validation instructions.
Grant users access to the Prompt Template User permission set. For better validation
results, use advanced LLM models.
Turn on Data 360 and provision Data Cloud to use
Document AI, which extracts data from uploaded files.
Document AI captures and prepares document information for validation against your
Salesforce records to reduce manual data entry and improve processing speed.
Turn on Know Your Customer to establish the identity
verification framework required for document validation.
With this feature, you can associate document checklist items to core records, such as
a party profile or an applicant, and validate extracted document data against the person
or entity with high accuracy.
Grant users create and edit access to the Document Checklist Item Validated Target
object. Create Document Category and Document Type and associate them with Document
Checklist Item. Make sure that the Document Checklist Item parent object is Party
Profile, Applicant, Application Form Product, or Application Form.
Advanced Document Validation improves efficiency by defining exactly which fields need
to be verified.
