Set Up Document Validation Definitions for AI-Powered Document Validation
Create definitions to map specific fields in a document to the corresponding fields in a
Salesforce record. These definitions establish the criteria for AI comparison.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience.
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited editions that have
Financial Services Cloud enabled.
User Permissions Needed
To set up Document Validation Definitions:
Financial Services Cloud Comprehensive OR FSC Sales OR FSC
Service
AND
Document Checklist Item
AND
Data Cloud
Architect
From Setup, find and select Document Validation
Definitions.
Click New.
Enter a name and developer name.
Enter a description.
Select the Document Category and Document Type for the document checklist item.
Select the primary object that the document checklist item is associated with.
Click Next.
Set up related records to validate your Document Checklist Items.
For example, to verify proof of identity with a Driver's License, add Applicant for the
Application Form primary object.
Select the primary object to choose the fields shown to users.
Select the related object and choose the fields shown to users.
Click Next.
Turn on AI-Powered Document Validation.
Review the instructions generated and edit them as required.
To test the prompts for extracting and validating a document checklist item, click
Test.
Save your changes.
