Considerations for Using Financial Summary Rollup

While setting up Financial Summary Rollup, keep in mind these considerations for cloning, customizing, and running predefined Data Processing Engine definitions.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions where Financial Services Cloud is enabled

          Review these considerations:

          • The total count of Data Processing Engine definition limits in Salesforce includes definitions and their associated resources such as data source objects, nodes, fields, and filter conditions. Always check the org limits for Data Processing Engine definitions.
          • To periodically generate summary rollup results, create a schedule-triggered flow and link the corresponding Data Processing Engine definition that aggregates financial information. If you plan to run multiple Data Processing Engine definitions to aggregate different types of financial information for a household or an individual account, create the corresponding number of scheduled flows.
          • When you clone and customize a predefined Data Processing Engine definition, retain the process type as Financial Summary Rollup.
          • Prebuilt field validations aren't included with the Data Processing Engine definition templates. For instance, though the Household Asset and Liability Summary Data Processing Engine definition calculates asset and liability values for household members based on individual member share percentages, it does not validate if the total exceeds 100%. Salesforce recommends that you add field validations as needed for your business.
          • The last updated timestamp shows the date and time following the completion of the Data Processing Engine definition sync, and recipe run operations.
          • If the account record type is business account and has an associated PartyRelationshipGroupID, the PartyRelationshipGroup lookup field in the AccountFinancialSummary object is autopopulated.
