Grant Portal Users Required User and Object Permissions
Grant your portal users the needed user and object permissions to create service requests, schedule appointments, submit surveys, browse knowledge articles, and submit loan applications in the Financial Services Client Portal.
Required Editions

| To edit object permissions and to set field-level security: | Manage Profiles and Permission Sets AND Customize Application |
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Profiles, and then select Profiles.
- Edit the cloned community user profile.

Under General User Permissions, enable Run Flows.
This permission enables your portal users to run Salesforce Scheduler flow for scheduling appointments in the Financial Services Client Portal.

Configure these object permissions.

Update field-level security for the Case Source field on the Case object.
- In Setup, go to Object Manager.
- In the Quick Find box, enter Case, and select Case.
- Select Fields & Relationships.
- Select Case Source.
- Click Set Field-Level Security.
- For the cloned community user profile, select Visible and deselect Read-Only.
- Save your changes.
