          Upload and Map the Proof of Insurance PDF Template

          Upload the PDF template that’s used to generate the proof of insurance document. Map the intake data to this PDF by using an Omnistudio Data Mapper.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Financial Services Cloud and Unified Catalog.
          User Permissions Needed
          To activate the Proof of Insurance Omniscript: Customize Application

          When a policyholder requests proof of insurance, Salesforce generates a filled PDF document. To enable this, upload the standard template file and map its fields to the Omniscript that captures the request data. Make sure that the field names in the PDF template match the field names in your Data Mapper output.

          1. Switch to Salesforce Classic.
          2. Click the plus symbol and then select Documents.
          3. Click New.
          4. Click Choose File, and from Documents, select FSCInsRqstInsPrfAttachmentTemplate.
          5. In Folders, select Shared Documents, and then save your changes.
          6. Switch to Salesforce Lightning.
          7. In the Omnistudio app, from the navigation bar, select Omniscripts.
            It can take a little time for the Omniscripts app to open.
          8. Select FSCIns/RequestInsuranceProof.
          9. Click the CreateAttachment action.
          10. Click the link icon next to FSCInsRqstInsPrfPdfMapper Pre-Transform DataRaptor Interface.
          11. Map the fields in the source data to the fields in the output PDF.
            Note
            Note The field names in the PDF output must be the same as the field names in the PDF template.
