          Submit a Cancel Insurance Policy Request

          ​​Your service reps can capture and submit an insurance policy cancellation request by using the Policy Cancellation Omniscript.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions where Financial Services Cloud is enabled
          User Permissions Needed
          To submit a policy cancellation request: Customize Application
          1. On the customer’s Account record page, from the Action Launcher, select the action to cancel an insurance policy.
          2. Select the insurance policy type and the active policy to cancel.
          3. Enter the policy cancellation details, such as effective cancellation date and cancellation reason.
          4. Review the changes, and submit the request.

          A case is created in Salesforce for the submitted insurance policy cancellation request.
