Customize Financial Account and Account Layouts with Source System ID
Update the Financial Account page layout to show the Source System ID field for records
that exist in the core banking systems. This field shows the ID of the record and determines which
account to pull data from in the core banking system. To help users quickly identify which core
banking account the Salesforce record represents, add the Source System ID to the account search
layout.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited
Editions with the Agentforce for Financial Services add-on license or included in
Agentforce 1 Financial Services Edition. Requires each user to have the Agentforce for
Financial Services add-on to access the action.
User Permissions Needed
To create and edit page layouts:
Customize Application
Customize the financial account page layout to show Source System ID.
In Setup, go to Object Manager.
In the Quick Find box, enter Financial Account, and then select
Financial Account.
In Page Layouts, click Financial Account (Banking) Layout
In the Quick Find box, enter Source System ID.
Drag the Source System ID field to the Information pane.
Save your changes.
Customize the account search layout to show Source System ID in the search results
list.
In Setup, go to Object Manager.
In the Quick Find box, enter Financial Account, and then select
Financial Account.
Select Search Layouts.
To edit the layout, from the dropdown menu across from layout, select
Edit.
Move the Source System IDfield from Available Fields to Selected
Fields.
Save your changes.
