Create a Document Validation Definition for Document Checklist Item
Define a multi-level object hierarchy and specify fields for document validation based
on document category and type. Configure related records to verify document checklist item data.
Define which fields must be validated for a specific document checklist item.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience.
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited editions that have Financial
Services Cloud enabled.
User Permissions Needed
To create a Document Validation Definition
Financial Services Cloud Extension OR FSC Sales OR FSC Service
AND
Document
Checklist Item permission set.
From Setup, find and select Document Validation Definitions.
Click New.
Enter a name and developer name.
Enter a description.
Select the Document Category and Document Type for the document checklist item.
Select the primary object that the document checklist item is associated with.
Click Next.
Set up related records to validate your Document Checklist Items. For example, to verify
proof of identity with Drivers License, add Applicant for the Application Form primary
object.
Select the primary object to choose the fields shown to users.
Select the related object and choose the fields shown to users.
Save your changes.
View the document checklist item to verify the uploaded documents against data in the records.
After you validate the document checklist item, update the status and add comments. See Validate Documents in Document Checklist Items.
