          Turn On Advanced Document Validation

          To improve the validation accuracy of document checklist items, use Advanced Document Validation to focus on required data points across related records.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience.
          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited editions that have Financial Services Cloud enabled.
          User Permissions Needed
          To turn on Advanced Document Validation:

          Financial Services Cloud Extension OR FSC Sales OR FSC Service

          AND

          Document Checklist Item permission set.

          Before you begin:

          • Assign the Document Checklist item permission set to your users. See Assign the Document Checklist Permission Set.
          • Grant create and edit access to the Document Checklist Item Validated Target object.
          • Create Document Category and Document Type and associate it with Document Checklist Item.
          • Make sure that the Document Checklist Item parent object is Party Profile, Applicant, Application Form Product, or Application Form.
          1. From Setup, find and select Advanced Document Validation Settings.
          2. Turn on Advanced Document Validation.
