            Configure Roles to Create Flexible Hierarchies

            A role signifies the specific functionality of a node within the hierarchy. Add the picklist values for the Role field on the Flexible Hierarchy Node object.

            Available in: Unlimited and Agentforce Editions

            To add picklist values to the Role field:

            Flexible Hierarchy Admin

            AND

            Customize Application permission

            Create and configure roles according to your business requirements. For example, when building a corporate structure, you can categorize child nodes based on ownership depth, such as Wholly Owned Subsidiary, Majority-Owned Subsidiary, or Affiliate to represent the legal standing of each entity relative to the root node.

            Identify the roles required when creating a flexible hierarchy for your business requirement, and add these roles as the picklist values to the Role field of the Flexible Hierarchy Node object.
