Configure Summary Rollup Metrics for Flexible Hierarchies
Create summary rollup metrics for a hierarchy type by using relevant node measure types.
This node measure type determines the category that you want to summarize, such as total account
balance or total opportunities.

User Permissions Needed
To create a rollup metric for a node:
Flexible Hierarchy Admin
AND
Customize Application
AND
View Setup
and Configuration
Make sure that you have added picklist values to the Node Measure Type field on the
Flexible Hierarchy Node Summary object.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flexible Hierarchies, and
select Flexible Hierarchy Setup.
Click a hierarchy type where you want to configure rollup metrics.
To create summary rollup metrics:
In the Summary Rollup Metrics section, click New.
Enter a metric name and description.
Enter a meaningful metric name and description to help users easily identify it. The
name appears on the hierarchy node to show rollup values, such as total closed
opportunities.
Select a node measure type.
Optionally, select the metric as Primary. If you select it, this metric is shown directly
on the node without a side panel in the Graph view.
Save the changes.
