Customize Record Pages to View Flexible Hierarchies

To show flexible hierarchies by using the Graph view or the Grid view, add the prebuilt component to a record page.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Unlimited and Agentforce Editions

          User Permissions Needed
To customize a Lightning record page:

          Flexible Hierarchy Admin permission set

          AND

          Modify All Data permission

          AND

          Customize Application permission

A prebuilt component on a flexible hierarchy record page shows hierarchies by default. However, to view hierarchies on other object record pages, follow these steps.

          1. From Setup, select Object Manager.
          2. Select the object that you want to visualize in a hierarchy.
Make sure that the object that you select is defined as a node in at least one of the hierarchy types that you’ve created in your org.
          3. Select Lightning Record Pages.
          4. Click the page name, and then click Edit. If necessary, click New and create a page.
          5. Drag the prebuilt component, Flexible Hierarchy, from the Components panel to the Lightning page canvas location where you want to position the component on the record page.
The Flexible Hierarchy component isn't supported in page layouts with a 1/3 column width.
          6. Save your changes.
          7. If your page is new, activate the page.
