          Set Hierarchy Status to Draft

          Set Hierarchy Status to Draft

To prevent your users from viewing incomplete or work-in-progress hierarchies, as a hierarchy admin, you can set the hierarchy's status to Draft.

To set the hierarchy's status to Draft:

          Flexible Hierarchy Admin

If a hierarchy's status is set to Draft:

          • Users can't access or view the structure.
          • The hierarchy remains in the draft state until it’s validated.

When you create hierarchies by using the API, the status defaults to Draft. However, if your hierarchy managers use the hierarchy builder to create a hierarchy, you can manually set the status to Draft by using the quick action.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Flexible Hierarchies.
          2. Click and open a flexible hierarchy record page.
          3. From the quick action menu, select Mark as Draft.

Review various hierarchy statuses, their impact, trigger conditions, and transition criteria.
