Companies sell financial products to applicants. For better discoverability, products are
organized into catalogs, categories, and subcategories. Product characteristics are defined by
assigned attributes.
Example
Create a personal loan product with a loan repayment term of 36 months. To ensure
applicants can find the personal loan product, create a product catalog for digital lending
to store your products, such as auto loan, house loan, and personal loan. Then, to make it
easier for borrowers to find the product that fits their needs, organize the personal loan
catalog into categories and subcategories. Next, create and assign attributes to the
personal loan product, such as a picklist attribute that shows the loan term of 12 Months,
24 Months, and 36 Months.
To quickly define and create personal loan products in the future, create a personal loan
product classification. The classification contains a collection of attributes that describe
the general properties of the personal loan product.
