Data Use Purpose records define the legal basis for your financial institution to
collect and process applicant information during the deposit account opening process.
These records accurately log consent from the intake Omniscript for each application to
comply with data privacy regulations.
Create an Authorization Form.
An Authorization Form contains the legal disclosure text that applicants must review
and agree to before submitting their deposit account application. Linking the
Authorization Form to a Data Use Purpose ensures that the intake Omniscript presents the
correct consent language to each applicant at the Disclosure Consent step. This
association also accurately records their acknowledgment on the application form.
Create a Decision Matrix named
LendingDataUsePurposes to automatically determine the correct
disclosure text for each applicant.
The matrix maps product, applicant type, and level combinations to the right Data Use
Purpose record so the Disclosure Consent step always surfaces the accurate authorization
form text. Create a decision matrix with input columns for
productId, applicantType, and
level, and an output column for
dataUsePurposeId.
