Help your patients and members use Agentforce for finding care providers by creating an
agent based on the Patient and Member Services template. Add the Provider Matching subagent to the
agent. Provider Matching helps users find care providers or facilities based on preferences such
as provider location, specialty, and gender.

To create an AI agent:
Manage AI Agents

To add a subagent to an agent:
Manage AI Agents

Manage Agentforce Default Agent

From Setup, find and select Agents (under Agent Studio).
Turn on Enable the Agentforce (Default) Agent.
Click New Agent.
From the Select an agent page, make sure Create from a Template is selected, then select
Patient and Member Services.
Click Next.
From the Select your subagents page, verify the Provider Matching subagent is added, and
click See included actions to verify the subagent includes the Find
Providers Info and Find Matching Providers actions.
Click Next.
From the Customize your agent page:
Enter a name for your agent. The API name is automatically populated.
Enter a description, role, and company name for your agent. Note that best practices for
agent settings are available for review on the page.
Accept the default New Agent User to create a new Einstein Agent User automatically.
After you finish creating the agent, you can navigate to the Users page to locate the
Einstein Agent User Users and assign the Provider Matching Access for AI Autonomous Agents
(ASA) permission set.
Click Next.
From the Select data sources (Optional) page, click Create.
It isn't necessary to configure Data 360 in this scenario as the Provider Matching agent
uses Salesforce Health Cloud data only.
Click Activate. An active agent is ready for you to make it
available to authenticated users on your Experience Cloud site.
Subagent: Provider Matching The Provider Matching subagent helps patients and members quickly and efficiently find relevant healthcare providers. By automating and streamlining the provider search process, patients can quickly access accurate and personalized provider recommendations. This reduces the time and effort spent in searching for a provider, leading to an improved experience and ultimately better care outcomes.
