          Set Up Concurrent Scheduling for Intelligent Appointment Management

          With concurrent scheduling, schedulers can book multiple customer appointments in the same time slot. Concurrent scheduling is available with Salesforce Scheduler as the concurrency limits are set for shifts and work types. However, if you're using an external scheduler that supports concurrency, Intelligent Appointment Management reflects this as it fetches all available slots.

          To use Intelligent Appointment Management: Health Cloud Appointment Management
          1. From Setup, in Salesforce Scheduler Settings, enable Concurrent Scheduling.
          2. If you already have shift records in your org, execute the required Apex code.
            1. In the developer console, click Debug | Open Execute Anonymous Window.
            2. In the Salesforce Scheduler Help, copy the Apex code that migrates the work type and the shift associations. Make sure you select the code that applies when the Salesforce Scheduler for Health Cloud option is enabled.
            3. Paste the code into the window, and then click Execute.
            4. Repeat these steps to execute the code that clears the existing work type and work type data.
          3. From Setup, in Salesforce Scheduler Settings, enable Multiple Topics for Shifts.
          4. Set concurrency for shifts.
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select Shifts.
            2. Click the action menu next to a shift, and then click Configure. Make sure you click Configure, not Edit.
            3. Select Maximum Appointments. Then enter a value for the maximum number of appointments that can be booked for each topic. Topics are called work types in Health Cloud.
