For integrated appointment scheduling, connect athenahealth to Health Cloud. This
requires enabling the athenahealth Integration Client and configuring the Appointment Scheduling
Integration App for seamless data management.

From Setup, enter MuleSoft in the Quick Find box, and then select MuleSoft Direct.
If prompted, enter your MuleSoft login credentials.
Enable the athenahealth Integration Client.
In the Available Assets section of the MuleSoft Direct page,
Enable the athenahealth Integration Client API.
Enter a name, and select a business group, environment, and deployment target.
Select Next.
Enter your athenahealth Base URL, athenahealth Client Secret, and athenahealth Client
ID.
Enter a boolean value in Ignore Schedulable Permissions.
Select Proceed.
View the athenahealth Integration Client App from MuleSoft Exchange. From Settings, make
a note of the app URL. You’ll need it when you enable the appointment scheduling integration
app.
Enable the Appointment Scheduling Integration App.
In the Available Assets section of the MuleSoft Direct page, select
Enable for the Appointment Scheduling Integration -
Application.
Enter a name, and select a business group, environment, and deployment target.
Select Next.
Enter the athenahealth MuleSoft App URL, Client Secret, and Client ID.
If you’re also using Epic or Cerner, enter those values as well. If you’re not using all
three integrations (Epic, Cerner, and athenahealth) enter placeholder values in the fields
for the integrations not used).
