          Create a Profile and Assign Permissions to Authenticated Users for Self-Scheduling

          Give authenticated users access to the permissions, objects, and fields required to schedule their own appointments.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud

          User Permissions Needed
          To assign permission sets and object access to users: Manage Users
          To access Health Cloud objects for site users: Health Cloud for Experience Cloud Sites
          To administer a Health Cloud site: HealthCloud for Community

          These steps are similar to setting up a Health Cloud Community user.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Profiles, and then select Profiles.
          2. Clone the Customer Community Plus User or Customer Community User profile.
            For details, see Create or Clone Profiles.
          3. Enter a descriptive name for the profile, for example Self-Scheduling Customer Community Plus User.
          4. Click Edit.
          5. In the Administrative Permissions section, select Manage Health Cloud, and verify that Select Files from Salesforce and Share Files with People in Experience Cloud sites are selected.
            These options aren’t available to the Customer Community User Profile.
          6. In the General User Permissions section, select View Content in Portals.
            This option isn’t available to the Customer Community User Profile.
          7. In the Standard Object Permissions section, grant access to these objects.

          8. Save your changes.
          9. On the Profiles page, click the cloned profile.
            In the Field-Level Security section, make sure the profile shows Read access for all the fields in objects that you granted access to in the previous step.
            For Time Slot, also assign Edit Access.
            These options aren’t available to the Customer Community User Profile.
          10. In the Enabled Apex Class Access section, click Edit and add all Available Apex Classes to Enabled Apex Classes.
          11. Save your changes.
