To enable users to find both Discovery Framework-based internal assessments and external
assessments from a single search bar, set up Unified Search Experience. Users can find Unfied
Search Experience in the Assessment Library tab of the Assessment component.

User Permissions Needed
To modify pages:
Customize Application
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Discovery Framework and
then select General Settings.
Turn on Unified Search Experience for Assessments.
Open the record page where you've added the Assessments component in Lightning App
Builder.
Under the Unified Search Fields section, click Add Field.
Select the fields that you want to display in the unified search results. You can select
from OmniProcess, External Assessment Definition, or fields common to both objects.
Click Done.
Save and activate the page.
If you have MCG assessments enabled, sync the MCG data from an external source to complete
the setup for Unified Search Experience.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Integrated Care
Management and then select Integrated Care Management
Settings.
Turn on Sync MCG Assessment Data.
Under Integration Definition Name, click Edit and select the
integration definition to sync the MCG data. The selected integration defintion pulls the MCG
assessment data from the external MCG system to be displayed in the unified search
results.
Save your changes.
Under Permission Set, click Edit and select the permission set to
use to sync the MCG data.
Save your changes.
To run a manual sync, click Run Sync Now. Always run a manual sync
after setting up the integration defintion and permission set for the first time.
