Before you start setting up deduplication for public health cases, make sure that you
complete these prerequisites.
Create a Public Health Case record type for Case. This
is the record type that's configured for deduplication in the flow. You can also create your
own record type and configure it as the RecordType constant in the flow.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Public Health Settings and
select Public Health Settings.
Turn on Deduplication of Disease Surveillance Records.
To access the Unified Public Health Case data model object (DMO), data streams, data lake
objects, and data transforms, deploy the HealthCloud Administration, HealthCloud Clinical, and
Disease Surveillance data kits.
From Data Cloud Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Data Kits and
select Data Kits.
Find and select HealthCloud Administration.
Review the contents of the data kit, then click Data Kit
Deploy.
Select a data space and enter your org ID.
Click Deploy.
Repeat these steps for the HealthCloud Clinical and then the Disease Surveillance data
kits.
Make sure to deploy the HealthCloud Administration data kit first, followed by the
HealthCloud Clinical data kit and finally, the Disease Surveillance data kit. The Health Cloud
data kits contain components used in the Disease Surevillance data kit.
Select the same data space for all three data kits.
Review the Public Health Case Unification batch data transform and the Unified Public
Health Case DMO. Schedule the batch data transform as required.
Clone and configure the deduplication flow.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows and select
Flows.
Find and select Identify and Resolve Duplicate Disease Cases.
Verify that all the flow elements and attributes are configured correctly.
