Enable Batch Document AI for Health to help case intake specialists upload and extract
data from multiple lab reports simultaneously. Streamline case intake and management by automating
the creation of system records for high-volume data handling.

User Permissions Needed
To enable Batch Document AI for Health:
Health Cloud Foundation permission set
AND
Disease Surveillance permission set
AND
Data Cloud Architect permission set
AND
Document AI permission set
AND
Context Service Admin user permission
In Setup, find and select Batch Document AI for Health.
Turn on Batch Document AI for Health.
To pause the batch process after extraction so that users can review and adjust data
mappings before the records are saved, turn on Review Before Save.
In the Select Batch Docs Folder Location section, choose a folder where documents are
uploaded for the document extraction request.
Assign the user responsible for the document processing.
The selected user must have the manage permission for the batch docs folder.
Specify the start date and time for the first batch document processing run.
The system automatically updates this timestamp after each run and processes only the new
documents added after the specified time.
In the Select Case Status section, select the case status.
This status helps track the progress of the documents through the processing
workflow.
Next, schedule a batch job to process the documents at defined intervals.
