Enable Industries Licensing, Permitting, and Inspections (LPI)
To help public health agencies conduct inspection visits for a thorough disease
investigation and simplify healthcare license and permit management, enable Industries Licensing,
Permitting, and Inspections (LPI) in Health Cloud.
Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise and
Unlimited Editions of Health Cloud with the Dynamic Assessments, Action Plans, and
Omnistudio User licenses
User Permissions Needed
To create, assign, or conduct inspections:
Industries Licensing, Permitting, and Inspections (LPI) User permission
set
Industries Visit permission set
Action Plans permission set
To configure Dynamic Assessment:
Dynamic Assessment Access permission set
Industries Assessment permission
set
OmniStudio User permission set
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search for and then select Industries
Licensing, Permitting, and Inspections (LPI) Settings.
Turn on Industries Licensing, Permitting, and Inspections (LPI) Settings.
The page shows the guided setup.
Follow the guided setup steps in each section to set up Inspection, and Licensing and
Permitting.
The Health License and Permit Management and Health Inspection app become available
in the App Launcher. Additionally, the Inspection Type and Inspection Assessment Indicator
objects are now accessible in the Object Manager.
