          Customize Context Definition for Document Extraction

          Your case intake specialists can adapt Document AI for Health for their specific requirements. Customize a standard context definition to inherit all core components, such as nodes, attributes, and mappings, and extend the context definition based on your requirements by adding custom components. Support unique use cases by making sure that no critical data is missed during PDF extraction, which strengthens overall disease data management.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions of Health Cloud with the Agentforce for Health Cloud license
          User Permissions Needed
          To customize context definitions:

          Health Cloud Foundation permission set

          AND

          Disease Surveillance permission set

          AND

          Data Cloud Architect permission set

          AND

          Document AI permission set

          AND

          Context Service Admin

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Context Definitions and select it.
          2. From the dropdown next to the standard context definition that you want to customize, select Extend.
            For example, PatientCaseIntake or DiseaseDefinition.
          3. Enter a name for the context definition, and save your changes.
            The new context definition appears on the Custom Definition tab.
          4. From the dropdown next to your new context definition, select Edit.
          5. Review the context definition details, and click Next.
          6. On the Edit Structure page, add sibling or child nodes as needed, and click Next.
          7. On the Edit Attributes page, add an attribute by entering a name, type, and data type to an existing or new node.
          8. Save your changes.
          9. Create a mapping definition.
            Note
            Note Make sure the Salesforce objects and fields required for your custom nodes and attributes are available in your org for mapping. If a suitable standard object doesn’t exist, create the necessary custom object and fields before you start the mapping.
            1. On the Custom Definition tab, open the new context definition.
            2. On the Map tab, find the mapping record that you want to associate with a field.
            3. From the dropdown next to the mapping definition, select Edit SObject Mapping.
            4. Set this as your default mapping, and then click Map.
              The Context Mapping window shows the mapping attributes on the left and the entity fields on the right.
            5. Click a mapping attribute, and then click the field that you want to map the attribute to.
              A line appears between the two items to show the mapping.
            6. Save the mapping changes.
          10. On the mapping details page, click Activate.
          11. Update the template configuration to use the new context definition and mapping for document processing.
            1. In Setup, find and select Document AI for Health.
            2. In the Extraction Templates section, select the template that matches your use case.
              For example, select the Disease Definition template.
            3. In the Configuration section, select your new context definition and mapping.
            4. For each field listed, enter or review the prompts that the system (LLM) uses to extract the relevant data from the document.
            5. Save your changes.
