Set Up Assessment for Disease Surveillance
Help case investigators collect detailed information during disease investigation. Support accurate diagnosis, timely treatment, and early detection of potential outbreaks.

Prepare Your Org to Use Assessments
To use Health Cloud Disease Surveillance assessments, install Omnistudio.

Enable Discovery Framework.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Discovery Framework, and then select General Settings.
- Turn on Discovery Framework, Enhanced Questions, Import or Export, and Sample Templates.

Update the Omnistudio settings.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Omnistudio Settings and select it.
- Turn off Managed Package Runtime.
- Turn on Omnistudio Metadata and Managed Package Designer.
Deploy Health Cloud Disease Surveillance Assessments
- In Setup, find and select Discovery Framework Sample Templates.
- Click Deploy next to the Health Cloud Disease Surveillance template. Then click Deploy again.

Activate the Omniscripts.
- From the App Launcher, find and select Omnistudio Omniscripts.
- Click HealthCloudDS/AcuteHepatitisCaseReportForm, and select the most recent version of the Omniscript.
- Activate the version.

Similarly, activate these Omniscripts.
- HealthCloudDS/EbolaVirusForm
- HealthCloudDS/MpoxCaseInvestigationForm
- HealthCloudDS/ProvSurvillianceForm
- HealthCloudDS/WestNileForm
To help users to easily find and use the assessments, add the Assessment component to the account record page. See Add the Assessment Component to Record and App Home Pages.
