            Enable Disease Surveillance

            Before your users can start using Disease Surveillance data model objects and the Disease Surveillance app, you must enable the feature.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience

            Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud
            User Permissions Needed
            To configure and enable Disease Surveillance: Disease Surveillance
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search for and select Public Health Settings.
            2. Turn on Disease Surveillance.
              The page shows the guided setup and the app also becomes visible in the App Launcher.
            3. Follow the guided setup steps to set up Disease Surveillance.
            4. To view the Disease Surveillance objects, go to the Object Manager.
