Before you enable users to generate provider search reports:

Here’s a sample template that you can use.

Provider Name Specialty Sub Specialty National Provider Identifier Provider Type Operating Hours Facility Name Facility Street Facility City Facility State Facility Postal Code Facility Country
          {{#ProviderSearchReport}}{{#record}}{{ProviderName}} {{Specialty}} {{SubSpecialty}} {{NationalProviderIdentifier}} {{ProviderType}} {{OperatingHours}} {{FacilityName}} {{FacilityStreet}} {{FacilityCity}} {{FacilityState}} {{FacilityPostalCode}} {{FacilityCountry}} {{/record}}{{/ProviderSearchReport}}
          Note
Note Provider search report generation isn’t available for guest users and Community users.
          1. Upload and share the provider search report template with users.
For non-English users, make sure the template name is appended with the language code. For example, name a template for French users as fr_ProviderReportTemplate.
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select Files.
            2. Click Upload Files and select the provider search report template you created.
            3. Click Done when the upload completes.
            4. Locate the template you uploaded and click Down arrow icon for list view, then select Share.
            5. Search for and select users who can access the template. For users who also generate reports, select Collaborator.
            6. Click Share.
          2. Create a Document Generation Setting record. If you already have one, verify the values match the values in the table. Otherwise, skip this step.
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Document Generation Settings, and then select Document Generation Settings.
            2. Click New, enter these values, then click Create.

          3. Add the provider search report template name in Lightning App Builder and enable the Action bar.
            1. In Lightning App Builder, open the page where you added the provider search component.
            2. In the Properties pane, select Show action bar.
The Action dropdown(Action dropdown) in the provider search component includes the Generate Report option.
            3. In the Properties pane, in the Provider Search Report Template field, enter the name of the provider search report template you uploaded.
            4. Save your work.
          Note
Note If you cannot generate reports for users with custom profiles in your org, edit the profiles to update the field level security settings for the Document Generation Process object. Verify the profile has read access to the Request Text and Token Data fields.

Users can now select the relevant providers from search results and generate a provider search report.
