Get Your Org Ready for the Group Benefits App
Make sure you have the required managed packages installed, set up the account and contract pages, configure the security settings required by app components, and verify Omnistudio settings.

Confirm
that the Insurance managed package and the Insurance Industries Extension managed package are
installed.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Packages, and then select Installed Packages.

Confirm that the Vlocity Insurance (vlocity_ins) and Insurance Industries Extension
(vlocity_ins_fsc) packages are installed.
If the packages aren’t installed, complete the prerequisite tasks and then install them. See Installation and Upgrades.

Add related lists to account and contract pages.
- From Setup, in Object Manager, find and select Account. Click Page Layouts, and then click Account Layout. Add the Contracts related list to the layout.
- In Object Manager, find and select Contract. Click Page Layouts, and then click Contract Layout. Add the Insurance Contracts and Contract Group Plans related lists to the layout.

Set the
Account
page layout as the default for the Group Benefits
app.
- From the App Launcher, find and select Accounts.
- Open a business account.
- Confirm that the page shows your page layout changes.

Click
, and then
select Edit Page.
- Click Save and then click Activation.
- In the Activation: Account Record Page screen, go to the App Default tab.
- Click Assign as App Default.
- In the Select Apps screen, click Group Benefits App.
- Click Next, click Next again, and then click Save.

Configure Lightning Web Security so that users can upload .csv files with census
data.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Session Settings, then select Session Settings.
- Select Use Lightning Web Security for Lightning web components and Aura components.

Verify Omnistudio settings.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Omnistudio, and then select OmniStudio Settings.
- Confirm that Managed Package Runtime is disabled.
- Confirm that Deploy Custom Lightning Web Components in Standard Runtime is enabled.
