          Create a Custom Notification for Home Visit Budgeting

          Create a custom notification for sending in-app notifications to care coordinators about the status of budget document generation. When a care coordinator sends the budget information to a patient for approval, the Send Home Visit Budget Document flow creates the budget document and uses this custom notification to send a status notification. If the budget document creation fails, the flow sends a failure notification and care coordinators can retry the document generation process.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud and the Home Health Add-on license

          User Permissions Needed
          To create a custom notification:

          Health Cloud Foundation permission set

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Custom Notifications, and select Custom Notifications.
          2. Click New.
          3. Enter Home Health Budget as the name, and HomeHealthBudget as the API name of the custom notification.
          4. Select Desktop as the notification channel, and then save your changes.

          The custom notification is ready for use. Next, clone and activate the Send Home Visit Budget Document flow to automate the budget document approval.
