Create and Upload a Document Template for Home Health
Simplify and automate the generation of home visit budget documents by using document
templates. Depending on your business needs, design a template with an appropriate structure,
content, format, and variables. You can also include tables, paragraphs, columns, and
images.

To create and upload document templates:
DocGen Designer
or
DocGen User
Create a sample document that you want to use as a template for budget documents in
Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint.
From the App Launcher, find and select Design Document
Template.
Click Create Template.
Enter HomeHealthPatientBudget as the template name. Use this
exact name to make sure that the right document template is used to generate the
budget documents.
Depending on the sample template that you created earlier, select
Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint
as the template type.
Select JSON as the token mapping method.
Select the document template usage type.
Upload the Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint document, and save your
changes.
Click Activate.
Share the document file with care coordinators and
user groups so that they can generate the budget documents.
Make sure you've configured the right user groups in your org.
From the App Launcher, find and select Files.
Select the budget document template file, and click
Share.
Select People or Groups.
Select one or more users or groups, and then give them the Viewer access.
Click Share.
Your care coordinators can now use the document template to generate the budget
documents for home visits.
