Assign a Service Resource to a Service Territory for Home Health
Assign service resources to the service territories that they operate in. Doing so
creates a service territory member record that relates the resource and the territory. If
necessary, change the operating hours for the service territory member if they differ from the
service territory's operating hours.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud and
the Home Health Add-on license
User Permissions Needed
To create a service territory member
Create access on Service Territory Member
From the App Launcher, open the Field Service Admin app, select Service
Territories, open a service territory record, and then select
Related.
Click Assign Service Resources next to Service Territory
Members.
Select the service resource you want to assign and click Next.
In Territory Type, specify the resource’s assignment priority for the selected
territory.
Enter the start date of the resource’s association with the territory. If necessary, set an
end date.
Save the record.
That’s it; you’ve successfully created a service resource and a service territory, and then
assigned the resource to the territory.
Note A care resource inherits the service territory's operating hours.
However, if a care resource works in multiple territories and has conflicts with the default
time of the secondary territory, you can edit the resource's service territory member record and
define unique operating hours for the resource within the context of the secondary
territory.
