Home Health Data Model and Permissions
Home Health is primarily built on the Field Service data model. Here’s the set of permissions, objects, and metadata types that you get with Home Health.
Required Editions

Permissions
Users need these permissions to use Home Health.

| Manage Home Health | Manage Home Health | Allows schedulers and supervisors to schedule visits and manage field resources. |
| Home Health Caregiver | Home Health Caregiver | Allows health workers in the field to use Home Health on the Field Service mobile app and execute visits in the field. This permission set doesn’t let users access a patient’s clinical information. |
| Home Health Clinician | Home Health Clinician | Allows health workers in the field to use Home Health on the Field Service mobile app and execute visits in the field. This permission set lets users access a patient’s clinical information. |
| Home Health Quote | Manage Home Health | Allows care coordinators at the home health agency to manage quoting and budgeting of home visits. |
| Home Health Patient | Health Cloud for Experience Cloud Sites | Allows patients to use the patient portal for managing their home healthcare visits. |
| Home Health for Experience Cloud Sites | Health Cloud for Experience Cloud Sites | Allows site users to use Home Health and access its visit-based data. This permission must be used with the Health Cloud for Experience Cloud Sites permission set license. |
Objects
Home Health uses these objects.

| Account (Person Account) | Represents the patient. |
| Account Service Preference | Associates the patient record with the skill records that represent their preferences and the work types that set the context of those preferences. |
| Assigned Resource | Represents the service resource assigned to a visit. |
| Associated Location | Associates a patient’s person account record with a location record. |
| Care Request | Represents the request seeking authorization for a care service. |
| Care Request Item | Represents an item in the care request. |
| Care Service Visit | Associates a visit with its service request. |
| Care Service Visit Plan | Associates a visit plan, service request, and its authorization data. |
| Clinical Service Request | Represents the service request that recommends a care service. |
| Clinical Service Request Detail | Provides additional information for the service request. In the Home Health use case, associates a service request with the work type for the service. |
| Coverage Benefit | Represents the benefits provided to a patient by a purchaser’s plan. |
| Coverage Benefit Item | Represents the benefit items provided to a patient by a purchaser’s plan. |
| Location | Represents the location of a patient or a service territory. |
| Maintenance Plan | Groups a set of visits into a visit plan. |
| Medication Statement | Represents a record of medication that the patient is taking or has taken in the past. |
| Operating Hours | Together with Time Slot, defines a set of hours during which something is operational or available. |
| Party Appointment Request | Represents an appointment request raised by a patient for their home healthcare services. |
| Party Schedule Preference | Represents the schedule preference that a patient has for their home healthcare visit. |
| Plan Benefit | Represents the standard benefits available under a plan that the purchaser offers to patients. |
| Plan Benefit Item | Represents the details of a benefit available under a purchaser’s plan that is offered to patients. |
| Resource Preference | Represents the preferences that a patient has for the people they receive care from. |
| Schedule Broadcast | Represents a broadcast of appointments that's sent to resources of specific service territories. |
| Schedule Broadcast Appointment | Represents appointments that schedulers broadcast to resources using a schedule broadcast. |
| Schedule Broadcast Appointment Resource | Associates a schedule broadcast appointment with a service resource. |
| Schedule Broadcast Territory | Represent service territories to which a schedule broadcast is sent. |
| Service Appointment | Represents a visit. |
| Service Objective | Represents a scheduling goal for resource assignment. |
| Service Report | Represents a report of a visit. |
| Service Resource | Represents a care resource in the field. |
| Service Resource Skill | Associates a service resource with their skills. |
| Service Territory | Represents an area of operations for your organization. |
| Service Territory Location | Associates a service territory with its location. |
| Service Territory Member | Associates a service territory and a service resource operating in that territory. |
| Skill Requirement | Associates a work type with the skills required to perform that service. |
| Skill Type | Represents the broader type or category that a skill belongs to. |
| Time Slot | Together with operating hours, represents the time slots during which something is operational or available. |
| Work Order | Represents the work order for each visit. |
| Work Plan | Represents a group of tasks to be performed during a visit. A visit can have multiple work plans at the same time. |
| Work Plan Selection Rule | Represents the rules that determine how work plans are generated from work plan templates. |
| Work Plan Template | Represents a reusable template of a set of tasks that are converted to a work plan. |
| Work Plan Template Entry | Represents an item a work plan template. |
| Work Step | Represents a task in the work plan. |
| Work Step Template | Represents a task in a work plan template. |
| Work Type | Represents a service provided by your organization. |
Metadata Types
Home Health uses these metadata types.

| Skill | Defines both the skills required for a service and the preferences that a patient has. For instance, both Italian-speaker and Sample Collection Specialist are represented as skills. |
| Skill Type | Defines the type that a skill belongs to. |
