Home Health gives you a record-triggered flow that updates scheduling conflicts when
field resources assigned to visits take time off. The flow updates the visits affected by a
resource’s absence with a new status, and then removes their resource assignments.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud
and the Home Health Add-on license
The flow is triggered every time a new service resource absence record is created to represent a
resource’s time off.
To set up this absence handling, you must first configure the service appointment lifecycle in
Field Service Settings, and then clone and activate the Update Visits for Resource Absence
flow.
Configure Status Values for Resource Absence Handling in Home Health To configure the updated status of visits affected by field resource absences, you must update a few Field Service Settings in the Field Service Admin app. Then, you define the status transition flows in Field Service.
