Add Service Objectives to Home Health Scheduling Policy
After you create service objectives for each skill type, add the objectives to Home
Health’s default scheduling policy and specify the weight. This configuration helps Home Health to
consider the weight defined for each skill and assign the most suitable care resource to
patients.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud and
the Home Health Add-on license
User Permissions Needed
To manage scheduling policy:
Field Service Admin Permission Set
From the App Launcher, open the Field Service Admin app, and then select
Scheduling Policies.
Select Home Health Default Scheduling Policy.
Go to the Related tab.
Click New under Scheduling Policy Objectives.
Select a service objective that you want to add to the scheduling policy.
Specify the weight for the objective. A higher value indicates a higher weight for the
skill type.
Save your changes.
Repeat these steps to add all the service objectives that you configured for the skill
types in your org.
The Home Health default scheduling policy uses the weight information of the service
objectives to rank skill preferences. Home Health then assigns a care resource to a home visit
per the patient’s skill preference.
