Enable Integrated Care Management
Before your users can start using Integrated Care Management, you must enable the feature and some other settings first.

To enable Integrated Care Management, you must first enable the FHIR R4-aligned Clinical Data Model and disable Omnistudio managed package runtime in your org. In Setup:
- Go to the FHIR R4 Support Settings page to verify if the FHIR R4-aligned Data Model setting is turned on already.
- Go to the Omnistudio Settings page to verify if Omnistudio managed package runtime is already disabled.
- From Setup, enter Integrated Care Management Settings in the Quick Find box, and then select Integrated Care Management Settings.
- Turn on the Enhanced Care Plans setting.
- If you want Goal Assignment records to be automatically shared with its parent records, like Care Plan, turn on the Automatic Sharing for Goal Assignment Records setting.
- If you want Care Task records to be automatically shared with their parent Task records, turn on the Automatic Sharing for Care Task Records setting.
- If you want to enable care gaps so that your users can identify gaps in patient care, turn on the Care Gaps setting.
- If you want to access MCG assessments and care guidelines, turn on the MCG Care Guidelines setting.
- If you want to enable saving progress on current assessment sessions, turn on Save Actions for Internal Assessments.
