Configure MCG Assessments for Experience Cloud Site
To enable community users to complete MCG assessments on Experience Cloud sites,add the
External User Assessments component to your site, configure the external assessment integration
defintion for MCG assessments, and assign the required permissions.

User Permissions Needed
To use Experience Cloud for Health Cloud:
Customer Community for Health Cloud or Customer Community Plus for Health Cloud add-on
license
To use Experience Cloud for Assessments:
Assessment Envelope for Community Users permission set
To enable access to MCG assessments for community users, configure your Experience Cloud
site with the External User Assessments component. See Set Up Assessments for an Experience Cloud Site.
Assign community users the permission set you created with the external credential
principal access enabled.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users and select
Users.
Click the community user you want to assign the permission set to.
Click Permission Set Assignments.
Move the permission set to the Enabled Permission Sets section.
Save your changes.
To enable access to MCG assessments on Experience Cloud sites, assign Read access for the
External Assessment Definition object to community users.
Create a Read Only sharing rule for the External Assessment Definition object.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Sharing Settings and
select Sharing Settings.
Find and select External Assessment Defintions.
In the Sharing Rules related list, click New.
Enter the label name and rule name.
For the rule type, select Based on criteria.
Specify the field, operator, and value criteria that records must match to be included in
the sharing rule.
For Share with, select Public Groups, then All Customer
Portal Users.
For Access Level, select Read Only.
Save your changes.
Care managers can now send MCG assessments for community members to complete on Experience
Cloud sites. After a member completes an assessment, the status of the corresponding Assessment
Envelope Item is updated to Pending Review. The care manager reviews the completed assessment and
then submits it.
