          Set Up Assessments and Recommendations

          Set Up Assessments and Recommendations

To give your users recommendations when they create or update care plans, first create an assessment that they can use to gather information from patients. Then, map the questions and their responses to appropriate recommendations. Finally, set up a decision table to process that mapping.

          1. Create an Assessment
Care managers use assessments to gather information from patients. For an assessment to be compatible with Integrated Care Management, its questions must be of the type single-select or multi-select, and the responses for those questions must be under 255 characters.
          2. Map Responses to Recommendations
To map assessment question response options to their corresponding recommendations, use the Assessment Question Response Recommendation object.
          3. Set Up a Decision Table
Integrated Care Management uses Decision Tables to process how assessment question responses and recommendations are mapped. Setting up the decision table must be the last step in your data setup for Integrated Care Management. If you map more responses and recommendations after you’ve set up a decision table, you must then refresh that decision table.
          4. Configure Suggested Assessments for Discovery Framework Assessments
On completion of an internal, Discovery Framework-based assessment, a patient is recommended secondary assessments based on their responses to the primary assessment. To enable suggested assessments for internal assessments, clone and configure the HealthCloudICMGetSuggestedAssessmentsforInternalAssessment integration procedure. Turn on Suggested Assessments for Internal Assessments in Setup. Then, create mappings between primary assessments and suggested assessments by using the Assessment Question Response Recommendation object and creating a decision table.
          5. Set Up Assessment Prefills
To enable prefilled assessments for Discovery Framework-based internal assessments, clone the HealthCloudICMPrefillAssessmentQuestionResponses integration procedure. Then, embed it in the Omniscript of the assessment you want to enable prefills for. With assessment prefills enabled, Integrated Care Management automatically prefills a patient's newly launched assessment based on the the most recent and relevant responses from previously submitted responses for the same assessment.
          6. Suggested Assessment Responses
Suggested assessment responses for internal, Discovery Framework-based assessments and MCG assessments help care managers administer assessments more effciently. The suggestions are derived from sources such as previous assessment responses and Einstein Generative AI-powered insights based on member data.
          7. Unified Search Experience for Assessments
Unified Search Experience enables care managers to find both Discovery Framework-based internal assessments and external assessments such as MCG assessments from a single search bar. Care managers can find Unfied Search Experience in the Assessment Library tab of the Assessment component.
          8. Version-Aware Historical Access for Internal Assessments
To enable care managers to open completed Discovery Framework-based internal assessments and view historical responses within their original context, enable Version-Aware Historical View for Internal Assessments. This view helps care managers gain a better understanding of a patient’s health journey by accessing completed assessments, regardless of their current version.
          9. Generative AI Suggested Assessments
Set up Generative AI Suggested Assessments to provide your users with AI-powered assessment suggestions based on a patient’s profile across Agentforce Health, Data 360, and zero-copy external sources.Generative AI Suggested Assessments is available for both Discovery Framework-based internal assessments and MCG assessments.
