Set Up a Custom Flow for Medication Therapy Review
Provide additional flexibility for your clinicians to start medication therapy review by
using a custom flow instead of the built-in Start Medication Therapy Review flow. Depending on
your business needs, you can set up a custom flow and associate it with the Patient Medication
Manager lightning component.
Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud
User Permissions Needed
To associate the custom flow with the component:
Medication Therapy Review for Medication Management permission set
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select
Flows.
Design and create a flow to suit your clinician’s needs. To ensure your flow is compatible
with the Patient Medication Manager lightning component, add an input variable called
recordId or patientId for Person Account
records.
Edit a person account's Lightning record page, and select the Patient Medication Manager
component.
In the Properties pane, select the custom flow from the Medication Therapy Review Flow
attribute list.
When your clinicians start a medication therapy review, the component triggers the custom flow
instead of the built-in flow.
