Configure an Email Template for Your Provider Experience Cloud Site
Use email templates to save time and standardize the emails that you send to your users.
Set up an email template to define the format for the welcome email that you send to new provider
users who are ready to start the credentialing process. The email contains the login details for
the provider to access the portal and fill out the credentialing application form.
Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud and
Health Cloud for Experience Cloud Sites
User Permissions Needed
To create and send email templates:
Lightning Experience User
To update email templates:
Modify All Data
From Setup, go to Email, and click Classic Email Templates.
Click New Template.
Select Custom (without using Classic Letterhead), and click
Next.
In the Email Template Information section, do the following:
Retain the values for Folder and Encoding.
Select Available for Use.
Enter the name and subject for the email template.
Click Next.
Verify that Contact Fields is selected from the Select Field Type
dropdown.
Enter the email body in the HTML Body field, and click Next. Here’s
a sample that you could use.
Hi {!Receiving_User.Name},
<br/><br/>
Welcome to the {!Community_Name}. We’re excited to have you start your journey
with us!
<br/><br/>
You now need to go through our credentialing process as a next step. To do this,
log in to the {!Community_Name} and fill out the credentialing application.
<br/><br/>
Here’s the username to log into the portal:<br/>
Username: {!Receiving_User.Username}<br/>
Password: <a href="{!Community_Url}"> Click Here </a> to set your
password.

Thank you, <br/>
{!Organization.Name}
Leave the Text Body field blank, and click
Save.
From Setup, go to Digital Experiences, and click All Sites.
Click Workspaces next to your Experience Cloud site for providers.
Go to Administration and select Emails.
Enter the sender’s name and email address, and select Send welcome
email.
Search and select the email template you just configured for the provider site from the
Welcome New Member dropdown.
Save your changes.
