Configure the Use BRE Rules to Update CSR Status Flow
Automate clinical service request updates by configuring a flow that evaluates business
rules against patient referral data. This setup eliminates manual status changes by using a
prebuilt decision table and expression set to process work types and insurance
details.

Rule Engine Designer
Before you start this task, make sure that your org has the required Business Rules Engine
(BRE) licenses (BRERuntimeAddOn and BREDesignerAddOn) .
Clone the Patient Referral Expression Set and the Patient Referral Decision Table.
Add Data to the Decision Table. Make sure that your .csv file has these four headers in this order: WorkType, CSRStatusReason, InsuranceStatus, and CSRStatus.
Add these exact values to the Clinical Service Request Status picklist.

Clone and activate the Use BRE Rules to Update CSR Status flow. If you changed the name of the expression set or decision table when you cloned them, update their values in the Invoke Prior Authorization Decision Table element in the flow.
