Configure the Verify Benefits and Eligibility Flow
To support the Verify Eligibility and Benefits flow, deploy a MuleSoft app and configure named and external credentials.
Required Editions

| To manage MuleSoft Direct assets | MuleSoft Administrator |
- From Setup, find and select MuleSoft Direct.
- If prompted, enter your MuleSoft login credentials.
- Enable the FHIR System Integration in Real Time Using Generic FHIR Client app. Note the Client ID, Client Secret, and URL.

Create an external credential.
- From Setup, find and select Named Credential.
- Select External Credentials, and then select New.
- Enter a label and name, and then select Basic Authentication in the Authentication Protocol field.
- Save your work.

Create a principal with these values.
Parameter Name Identity Type User Name Password accesstokenNamed Principal Your FHIR System Integration in Real Time Using Generic FHIR Client app Client ID
Your FHIR System Integration in Real Time Using Generic FHIR Client app Client Secret - Enable the accesstoken External Credential Principals for the System Administrator profile.

Create a named credential with these values.
Field Value Label A user-friendly name of your choosing Name GFCCredentials URL The URL of the FHIR System Integration in Real Time Using Generic FHIR Client app Generate Authorization Header Selected External Credential The external credential you created in step 4. - Activate the Verify Eligibility and Benefits flow.
