Get Your Org Ready to Use Guest Referrals
Assign permissions and enable features required for guest referrals.

Confirm that person accounts are enabled in your org and that the Omnistudio managed
package is installed.
- From Setup, search for and then select Person Accounts. Verify person accounts are enabled.
- From Setup, search for and then select Installed Packages. Verify the Omnistudio managed package is installed.

Assign the required permissions to users.
Users need different permissions depending on the jobs they do.
- Assign the Customize Application permission to users who edit web forms.
- Assign the Omnistudio Admin permission set to users who edit Omniscripts.
- Assign the Create and Set Up Experiences and View Setup and Configuration permissions to users who set up an Experience Cloud site.

Create a permission set for guest users on your Experience Cloud site.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search for and then select Permission Sets. Click New.
- For Label, enter Guest Referral Permission Set.
- For License, select Omnistudio.
- Click Save.
- In your new permission set, click System Permissions, and then click Edit.
- Select Enables admin/developer to create new OS/DR/VIP instances, and then click Save twice.
- Click Permission Set Overview, click Object Settings, click Omni Processes, and then click Edit.
- For Object Permissions, enable Read.
- For Field Permissions, to enable Read access for all the fields, select Read in the column heading, and then click Save.
- Edit object settings for Omni Process Compilations. For Object Permissions, enable Read. For Field Permissions, to enable Read access for all the fields, select Read in the column heading, and then click Save.

Enable the settings and features required to create an Experience Cloud site for guest
referrals.
- If you haven’t already done so, enable digital experiences. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Digital Experiences, and then select Settings. Select Enable Digital Experiences, and then save your changes. If the Enable Digital Experiences checkbox doesn’t appear, it’s already enabled.
- On the Digital Experiences Settings page, if it's not already selected, select Hide badges from guest users in Experience Builder sites.
- Save your changes.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search for and then select Sites.
- Select the checkbox and click Register My SalesforceSite Domain if you haven't done this previously.
- Select Allow using standard external profiles for self-registration, user creation, and login.
- Save your changes.

Add Google as a trusted URL.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search for and then select Trusted URLs.
- Click New Trusted URL.
- For API Name, enter Google. For URL, enter https://www.google.com.
- Under CSP Directives, select all the checkboxes.
- Click Save.

Enable required Referral Management settings.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search for and then select Referral Management Settings.
- Enable Require reCAPTCHA Verification. This feature reduces misuse of your guest referral site.
- Click Assign Owner, and then select the record owner for referral records created by guest users on an Experience Site.
- From the Referrall Management Settings page, follow the guided setup steps to set up your Experience Cloud site, set up reCAPTCHA, and install and configure the Create Referral Omniscript to meet your requirements.
