You can reduce misuse of your guest referral site by using reCAPTCHA verification. The reCAPTCHA widget requires customers to select an “I’m not a robot” checkbox before they can create a referral.

To reduce misuse, we recommend adding reCAPTCHA v2 to your web form.
Turn on Web-to-Case
Use Web-to-Case features to set up reCAPTCHA verification for your guest referral Experience Cloud site.
Generate a Web Form with reCAPTCHA Verification
Before you can add reCAPTCHA verification to your guest referral Experience Cloud site, you must generate HTML code that includes a secret key pair registered on the Salesforce platform.
