To modify appointments:
Health Cloud Appointment Management
Depending on your org's configuration, you can book providers, assets, or
both.
If your org uses Salesforce Scheduler as a back-end scheduling system, you can
modify the primary or required resource for several service appointments at one time. See
Reassign Multiple Service
Appointments.
From the patient’s account page or a clinical service request page, open the
Appointment Management console.
Click Appointment List.
In the action menu for the appointment to modify, click Modify
Appointment.
Check the scheduling mode and switch to Multi-Resource
Appointment mode if needed.
Switching to multi-resource scheduling mode prevents non-bookable assets such as a
wheelchair or a cane from getting removed from the appointment. When you modify an
appointment in single-resource scheduling mode, non-bookable assets reserved for the
appointment are removed after you select a new time slot.
To add resources, click Add Resources on a search result.
If your org is configured for provider and asset scheduling, select which resource to
schedule the appointment with.
To narrow the list of available appointment slots, apply filters.
Select the patient’s time zone if it's different from your time zone.
Select a time.
If the appointment was booked as part of a series, click Next or
click Keep Slot Selection to proceed without modifying this
appointment. Repeat this step for each appointment in the series.
For group appointments, you can only update attendees for the appointments being modified. If you skip an appointment without changing the time, you can’t update the attendees. If an appointment in the series has already occurred, it’s unavailable to
modify.
Review the appointment details.
To add non-bookable assets such as a wheelchair or cane to an appointment, select
Add Assets. Then look up and select up to five assets.
