          Provide Virtual Care in the Behavioral Health App

          Check the virtual waiting room and start a virtual care session with a patient. Capture clinical observations as notes, launch assessments, search for providers, schedule appointments, and create care plans, service, and medication requests.

          Required Editions

          The Behavioral Health app uses these Health Cloud components to support behavioral health and intake specialists. Keep in mind that your Salesforce admin can customize components so your app can look different than our example.

          Notes

          Capture your observations and relevant details shared by a patient during a call (1).

          Assessments

          Launch standard AUDIT-C, GAD-7, and PHQ-9 assessments from the Assessments tab (1), the Assessments timeline, or the Action Launcher.

          Patient Care

          Create a plan to improve a person’s health. On the Care Plan tab (1), click New Care Plan.

          Care Barriers

          Track barriers and social determinants of health (SDOH), and create related intervention tasks. On the Care Barriers tab, click New Barrier.

          Patient Medication Manager

          On the Medications tab, review and efficiently manage the patient’s medication list. To request a supply of medication, use the Patient Card (2). Show Medications, and then click Add New Medication. Or in the Clinical Data Model timeline, click New, and then choose Medication Request.

          Appointments

          Schedule upcoming appointments in the Schedule Appointments tab (3). Add service appointments from the Engagement Data timeline. If your admin added video calls to the Behavioral Health app, schedule Virtual Care video visits.

          Provider Search

          Search for a provider or facility by provider name, facility name, or specialty. Optionally add subspecialty, plan type, location, and acceptance of new patients as search criteria.

          Clinical Service Requests

          Refer a patient to another provider or facility. On the Clinical Data timeline (4), click New, and then choose Clinical Service Request. Or on the Clinical Service Request tab, click New.

          Enhanced Timeline

          Enroll a patient in a care program. On the Clinical Data timeline, click New, and then choose Care Program Enrollee.
