            Create Units of Measure for Health Care Metrics

            Define units of measure to use with code sets for monitoring healthcare metrics. For example, to monitor a patient’s amount of exercise, create a unit of measure called Hours Per Week.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience

            Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud
            User Permissions Needed
            To create Units of Measure records: Edit on UnitOfMeasure
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select Units of Measure.
            2. Click New.
            3. Enter a name for Unit of Measure, for example, Hours Per Week.
            4. Enter a description to help end users understand when to choose this unit of measure.
            5. Add a unit code. For example, weekly hours.
            6. Select a Type of measurement.
            7. Save your changes.
            8. Repeat these steps for all other units of measure.
