Create a Referral Acknowledgement Email to a Referring Provider with Einstein

As a referred healthcare provider, enhance engagement and boost productivity by sending a personalized email to your referring provider. Use the built-in Draft Referral Acknowledgement Email to Provider prompt template on the provider record page to create a rich-text email message acknowledging the receipt of a patient referral. Provide the clinical service request associated with the referral as an input to the prompt and enjoy the benefits of AI with an effective and customized referral acknowledgement email.

User Permissions Needed
To create a referral acknowledgement email:	Health Cloud Foundation permission set AND Einstein for Service Innovations permission set AND Einstein Sales Emails permission set

Important This tool uses generative AI, which is known to include inaccurate or harmful responses. Before using the generated email content, review the output for accuracy and safety. You assume responsibility for the output when creating the email content.

1. Go to the referring provider’s record page.
   Depending on your org’s configuration, go to either the provider’s Account page or Contact page.
2. In the Activity section, click .
   The To field is auto-populated with the email ID of the referring provider.
3. Click Draft with Einstein.
4. In the Draft an Email with Einstein section, select Draft Referral Acknowledgement Email to Referring Provider.
5. Select the clinical service request that’s associated with the patient referral.
6. Click Continue.
   Einstein analyzes your request and generates a draft referral acknowledgement email based on the clinical service request and referral details. If the relevant source information isn’t available, Einstein skips such details when generating the content.
7. Replace any placeholder text in the email with appropriate content and review the draft.
8. Click Done.
9. Verify that all the details are correct and click Send.
   Salesforce sends the email to the referring provider.
